Breakfast on board your luxury Nile cruise. Then your tour guide will take you on a mysterious journey to the land of the Pharaohs. This guided tour of today begins by visiting one of the most wonderful temples in Egypt, the Temple of God Horus in Edu by  Stagecoach , which is one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. After that, you will revert to your ship. Lunch will be served on board during the sailing to the city of Kom Ombo.

Afternoon, you will proceed to explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the two Gods Sobek & Haroeris were worshipped for a while. Get back to your ship and enjoy your lunch.

Later, you will join your Egyptologist tour guide to discover the great city of Aswan, including The High Dam, which has been erected by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD to protect Egypt from the Nile flood. After that, you will enjoy sailing on the Nile River by a motorboat till reach Angelika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae, which was erected during the Greco-Roman period and was dedicated to the Goddess Isis (mother of god Horus). After breakfast. Transfer from your hotel for a 3-hour car trip to Alexandria. Start on a full day sightseeing of Alexandria starting with the Greek and Roman  Museum which contains artifacts that give you a picture of the grandeur of Alexandria in its days. You will stop at the newly built Library of Alexandria, one of modern architecture’s greatest marvels, and the Roman Amphitheatre, you will be directed to the underwater site in the Eastern Port of the newly discovered Cleopatra Temple and then on to Pompey’s Pillar which was erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian. Return in the evening to Cairo in time for your flight to Washington. (B.B)
